Our program covers a wide range of subjects. It includes introduction to international law and international protection of human rights, regional cooperation in the Council of Europe, introduction to the European Union institutional framework and foundations of economic and social integration process in the European Union. Compulsory program also includes subjects important from the perspective of the development of data and knowledge economy, such as intellectual property in trade or data protection.
You will learn how European integration impacts law, economy and society. From the offer of our supplementary subjects, you can choose topics to develop your individual interests, deepening your knowledge of EU law, focusing on trade and business or the impact European integration has on citizens.
European Legal Studies with its complex program and language teaching offer, facilitates your further studies in Europe, using the broad knowledge of the European law at home country institutions or setting your own business.

European legal system will be explained mostly during lectures, accompanied with presentations and discussions. During many lectures we aim at making our students active in problem solving and deepening the analysis of materials prepared at home. All lectures are in English. English is also a compulsory course, and language skills can be developed further in the framework of optional modules.
Students also have an opportunity to enter into moderated debates, as well as trying a moot court or simulation of activities of bodies acting in the human rights area. Students analyze case studies mostly from European courts, and learn to write a complaint to the European Court of Human Right.
We organize lectures by visiting professors from different legal systems, as well as webinars. You will have a chance to finalize your interests in law affecting business and society during bachelors seminars in smaller groups, up to 12 participants, where tutors will guide you through the process of writing bachelor thesis and conducting your own research
